Some favorite stories.

We love to read in our home. There are some books that always remain favorites. One that I have been reading to the kids since 2001, came from Grandpa M. and Grandma E. Jan Karan’s “Miss Fannie’s Hat.”.

Another one we are reading for the first time is Detectives in Togas.. Quickly becoming a new favorite with the older two.

It’s official.

We are excited to announce that Redlogic-Matheau- will soon be the Art Director for FCA’s STV magazine (starting in June)!!

It has been too cool to see how God is working out the details for us as we have been taking steps for Matheau to leave the security of a full-time position, working for someone else, to going out on his own.
This week has been full of positive affirmation that he is doing the right thing.

Easter bunnies and sorts like it.

Friday, at Wal-mart, a lady asked the kids if they are ready for the easter bunny. I just laugh under my breath and think people still talk about the easter bunny? In our home, we celebrate Easter next to Christmas. The kids receive a couple of gifts, not just candy. And we do decorate Easter eggs, and talk about the resurrection, not the bunny.

Are we taking away something magical from their childhood? Possibly, but only to replace magical with the supernatural. The Truth, and if they allow, Someone, who will guide their steps and take them down a path better then I can plan for them. Someone named Jesus. The Blessed One we pause and celebrate today.

BIG News!!

I still need to get some photos from Matheau, but Hannah scored her first soccer goal today!!!!! It was so exciting. We were so proud. The whole team cheered. And you want to know the best part of the game. She played intense the whole game. Hustling, paying attention to where she needed to be. She has a great couple of coaches and team. I couldn’t have asked for her to have such a great experience for her. More games to come this season. Family, I’ll be emailing the dates in the next few days.

A little late.

Sorry it has been awhile. Just a quick update to let you know that Hannah is busy working on some books. Although, she has been inspired by the number of orders she has received and has now been working on book one, for four days!!! Today, I’m taking Alli to get a new hair style. Excited about that. This weekend we have a soccer game, a fun birthday party to attend, and some new friends from out of town, over for dinner. I’m hoping they will be living in town very soon. ;)

I’ll try to get back and leave you some recent photos.
