“Mom, my free!” exclaimed Liz.

Liz turned three years old today. Lately she has been using either “I” or my” when talking about herself. I don’t remember the other kids saying that. I may have just forgotten. Itis hard to believe our youngest is 3 and there are no more babies on the way. It is an interesting stage of life for me.

It is also a great day, Liz is free (3)! ;)

School project #1.

This shed is going to be a playhouse (chicken home by next spring). So last Monday the kids and I began cleaning it up.

Unfortunately, Hannah gets poison ivy VERY EASILY. So, we took a break and I sprayed the poison ivy on Sunday. Hopefully we will be back out tomorrow morning.

School has started!

We have slowly been working back into “school.” Monday was our official start. We were working through some math when Allison came into the kitchen from the dining room. I had given her some craft beads to make a project with and she had put one up her nose.

I couldn’t see or feel it, after calling the clinic, using the vaccuum to suck it down, and later to find it ready to grab with a pencil, all was well. Liz watched all the hardship involved. I am hoping it was a good enough lesson she will not ever try it.

We concluded our first official day with a nature walk (to the pond). When we arrived back home, Hannah and Luke drew what they had each found the most interesting.

This is totally random, but… Here is a photo I took of Alli all dressed up. You can’t see the princess dress, but her hair beads hopefully help you get the idea.

Another knocked out tooth.

At least this one was already lose when Liz knocked it out with a video case. :)

Fair is going on this week. We went down to see some friends goats and other animals. Luke was inspired by the lego creations entered. He made this rocket this afternoon.

I entered the dress Hannah and Grandma tackled last fall. Her dress won Grand Champion! I will go back and get a picture of it for you tomorrow. We are very proud of her. Currently, we are working on making a softie doll she wants to give to Liz for her birthday.

Hair trims and Allison’s new clothes.

The girls reminded me all week of their appointments to have their hair trimmed. Needless to say, we were there early Thursday.

I had started making this little outfit for Allison several months ago. I finally finished it this week. I also just completed a cute little headband to go with it. :)

The girls.

This week, my parents took my Grandpa and Luke and Hannah to North Dakota with them. Liz and Alli thought they could hitch a ride too. After I offered a root beer float from Sonic, they were alright with coming back home with me. :)

We don’t just drink water at our house,

we drink “icey cold water”. And we eat rice “cris-cri-pa-bies” and “pan-a-cakes”.
At least Luke and Liz do.
